Description:  Go hiking with confidence and experience the outdoor life in Ross County in new ways.  Whether you’re hitting the trails for the first time or you are an experienced hiker you are bound to navigate something new, gain endurance, and meet new friends.  Participants will learn to prepare for a day hike, what essential items to bring while hiking, and where to explore local trails. We will explore a different trail each meeting in our local area. Class meets March 26, April 2, April 16, April 23, April 30.

Community Education workshops are open to the general public regardless of educational background.

Community Education workshops are non-credit and do not carry credit applicable toward an Ohio University degree or transfer to other institutions.
