o Appalachia\n\nAbout the film\n\nFOOD FOR CHANGE (82 minutes)\n\nFood For
Change focuses on food co-ops as a force for dynamic social and economic ch
ange in American culture. This is the first film to examine the important h
istorical role played by food co-ops\, their pioneering quest for organic f
oods\, and their current efforts to create regional food systems. Additiona
lly\, the film shows how cooperatives today strengthen local economies and
build food security. The goal is to educate a wide audience about the princ
iples of cooperation with a focus on healthy food and a healthy economy.\n\
nCAMP YOSHI (10 minutes)\n\nDriven by the magic of his experiences\, his ba
ckground as a chef\, and his love of good food and connecting people to inc
redible places that open up to conversation\, Rashad Frazier created Camp Y
oshi\, which curates custom outdoor adventures centered around shared meals
and shared experience with the goal of creating a space for Black people a
nd allies to unplug and in turn reconnect with the wilderness.\n\nAbout the
series\n\nAthena Cinema\, University Libraries and Environmental Studies P
rogram present the 10th annual Sustainability Film Series.\n\nIn keeping wi
th all previous series\, each film will be followed by a panel discussion f
eaturing faculty members\, students and community members. The panel discus
sion for these films will be presented by Cutler Scholars.\n\nFollowing eac
h film we invite audience members to join us for a panel discussion hosted
by faculty members\, students and community members. Please join us for a c
