We are asking participants to bring in one object from their dining/kitchen table at home to inspire t hem. After looking at the featured works in the exhibition\, participants w ill create drawings of/ related to their chosen objects. Once participants are satisfied with their drawings\, they will learn how to make their drawi ng a print\, using the process of "Kitchen Lithography." Kitchen Lithograph y is a printmaking technique that relates to the same scientific principles of traditional lithography\, except that it that allows artists to work in a home setting using common household materials rather than harsh chemical s.
