She majored in Arabic and Economics at Davidson College in North Carolina where she studied abroad in Jordan and Morocco. She star ted working with refugees while out of the country\, and she co-founded a R efugee Support Organization on Campus once she returned. Since then\, she h as always wanted to work to support refugees full-time\, and she loves bein g able to connect community members to this important work in her role as v olunteer coordinator.\n\n \n\nAbout CRIS:\n\nCRIS's mission is to help refu gees and immigrants reach safety and stability\, sustain self-sufficiency\, and achieve successful integration into the Central Ohio community. Flanne ry Rokebay-Jackson works with community members who are interested in suppo rting CRIS's mission to connect people to a wide array of programs.
