The Academic Achiev ement Center strives to offer inclusive programs and services that develop necessary academic skills in all students on all Ohio University campuses w hile simultaneously fostering a sense of belonging. Our lecture will discus s a range of Academic Achievement Center services\, including the Supplemen tal Instruction (SI) program\, which provides twice-weekly group study sess ions for students taking historically difficult\, large-enrollment classes. \n\n \n\nLearning Outcomes\n\nDescribe how participating in academic assis tance programs and services contributes to a student’s sense of belonging. Identify the Academic Achievement Center (AAC) as the university's learnin g center. Describe how the AAC serves the diverse student population. Expla in the AAC’s academic assistance programs and services to others.
