Are you passionate about social and environmental justice? Are you interested in living and building community with others who share that passion? Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest currently has openings for students interested in doing a year of service after graduation.

Jesuit Volunteers (JVs) respond to community needs in the Pacific Northwest by serving full-time with local nonprofits for one year. As a Jesuit-affiliated volunteer program, JVC Northwest provides opportunities for formation and personal growth as well as extensive support through retreats (including two BIPOC-only retreats), dedicated program staff, and other local support.

A year of service with us will allow you to receive career and skill-building opportunities in rewarding fields, while deeply engaging in in our core values of community, social & ecological justice, simple living, and spirituality/reflection. In addition to provided housing with fellow volunteers, healthcare, and a modest living allowance, you’ll also receive an AmeriCorps education award upon completion of $6,895 to use for prior loans or further study.

Learn more and meet a JVC Northwest representative on campus  Thursday, Feb. 9 th  at the  Academic Engagement Center . There will be two sessions and opportunities for Q&A at  1pm and 6pm .

Registration not required, but apprecaited:  https://ohio.givepulse.com/event/356927
