Our November Family Open Studio will begin in the new progressive installation from collections,  At/On the Table . After looking at the featured works in this exhibition, participants will create an interactive story using conductive technologies, sounds, touch, drawing materials, and storytelling techniques on a table! Participants will design their own characters and narratives while thinking about how their stories could be drawn and told side by side with other participants. Drawings will be created using copper tape or conductive paint pens to enable sound technologies to be a part of the piece. The final, collaborative creations will remain on view in the studio during select times at the Kennedy Museum of Art. This activity is part of the project "Tell Your Epic Story," which is designed and led by Basil Masri Zada, Assistant Professor of Instruction of Digital Art + Technology (DAT); the activity will be assisted by his DAT students.
