CLJC Lunch Talk | Law and the Death Penalty, April 12

The Center for Law, Justice & Culture hosts a lunch talk guest speaker Evan J. Mandery on Law and the Death Penalty on April 12 from noon to 2 p.m. in Baker Center 239.

Mandery is a professor at the City University of New York and the author of eight books, including four novels.

A leading expert on the death penalty, his book  A Wild Justice: The Death and Resurrection of Capital Punishment in America , was a  New York Times  Editors’ Pick and a Kirkus Best Book of 2013. He is also the co-creator and executive producer of Artificial, a live, interactive series on Twitch for which he won Peabody and Emmy awards in 2019.

 The Honors Tutorial College, Ping Institute for the Teaching of the Humanities, and Department of English also helped to make this event possible.
