After premiering in a critically acclaimed, sold-out run in New York City, an award nominated run in Chicago’s About Face Theatre, and appearances all around the Unites States, Methtacular! was filmed at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago in 2019.

Methtacular! plays Monday January 23rd at 7:00 PM at Athena Cinema, 20 S. Court Street, in Athens. Tickets are free. Seating is first come, first serve upon arrival at the Athena.

Methtacular! is (School of Theater MFA graduate) Steven Strafford ’s hilarious and harrowing autobiographical account of his three years as a crystal meth addict in Chicago. Through comedy, songs, and plenty of honest storytelling, Strafford brings audiences on a journey through the chemical highs, devastating lows, and ultimate redemption from his drug addled, sex crazed life.
