This orientation is for AYA and Middle Childhood Education students who are doing a field placement (observations in local school districts 4-12 grades) and taking a course that requires a field placement (EDTE2020, EDTE3250, EDTE3720, EDTE4200, EDTE4210, EDMC3000, EDMC3010, EDMC3100, EDMC3400, and EDMC3500) for the Spring semester can and should attend.

• Students whom attend will gain information about the general requirements and procedures for field placements.

• Learn about the required hours for a field placement, what to wear in the classroom, what to expect before/during/after field placement, and how to act in a professional manner during the placement.
