DESCRIPTION:This year’s Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. Community Celebration
will center around an all-community reading. This program offers unique opp
ortunities for self-reflection\, interaction and understanding of diverse p
erspectives. The all-community read engages participants to examine and bet
ter understand topics such as diversity\, inclusion and social justice thro
ugh many perspectives. We invite students\, faculty and community members t
o join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King by taking a deepe
r dive into one of his most powerful works\, “Letter from Birmingham Jail.”
