Join your fellow Nashville Bobcats at McCabe Park on Sunday, February 11, 2024, for the Founders Day Virtual 5K Challenge!

The Ohio University Alumni Association is challenging Bobcats near and far to take part in the Founders Day Virtual 5K Challenge! Celebrate OHIO's 220 years by helping us reach our goal of the total mileage from the Bunch of Grapes Tavern in Boston where Ohio University was chartered to Cutler Hall in Athens, equating 730 miles! Your individual 5K submission will be counted toward the combined mileage goal.

Our Nashville Bobcat goal on February 11 at 3 p.m. CT at McCabe Park is to have 10 people walk 3.1 miles with us to contribute to the overall goal. We'd love for more to participate virtually if you cannot make this specific time.

This is a kid and dog-friendly event. Bring the whole family!

Meet at McCabe Park by 2:50 p.m. by the parking lot art sculpture so we can walk at 3 p.m. This is a rain-or-shine event and will only be canceled in case of extreme weather. Please dress accordingly.

If you walk this loop, it will take approximately 1 hour. You are welcome to jog or run. We will enjoy light refreshments when we have completed the 5K, including cupcakes for Ohio University's birthday!
