    • First Gen, First Time is a program tailored for first-generation college students, aiming to demystify the career fair experience by providing insights into what to expect when interacting with employers, what to bring to a career fair, and strategies to alleviate the anxiety that often accompanies first-time participation in career events.
  • Career Fair Dos and Don'ts; 6-7 p.m., Baker 503
    • Career Fair Do's and Don'ts' is a program to equip students with essential information for a successful career fair. The session will cover career fair etiquette, common pitfalls to avoid, and address questions, ensuring students are well-prepared and confident for the upcoming event.

Tuesday, February 13

  • Resume Reviews; 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Baker Third Floor Atrium
    • In preparation for the upcoming Career Fair, students can have their resumes reviewed by a career coach with no appointment necessary.
  • Employer Research; 12-1 p.m., Baker 503
    • In our employer research session, we'll empower students with the tools to research companies attending the upcoming career fair. Students will gain insights into the companies’ missions, values, job opportunities, and more, helping them make informed career decisions.
  • International Student Career Fair Prep Event; 4-6 p.m.; Baker 503
    • This session, designed for international students, will guide students on how to navigate career fairs successfully, get information on OPT, CPT, and essential strategies for making the most of the career fair experience.

Thursday, February 15

    • Join our 'Linked 101' session to unlock the power of LinkedIn as a professional networking tool. Learn how to create and optimize your profile, build a valuable network, and leverage this platform to boost your career opportunities.
  • Code Switching; 6-7 p.m., Multicultural Center 213
    • What is it ? How is it used? How does it affect people of color in everyday experiences, both at work and on campus? How do we create environments that allow for authenticity?
