MOCK TRIAL INFORMATION SESSIONS AND TRYOUTS

The Ohio University Mock Trial Team is holding information sessions and team tryouts in early September, and OHIO students from all majors are encouraged to participate.

The team competes on a national circuit run by the American Mock Trial Association. Students are given a mock legal case and tasked with preparing a case for both the plaintiff/prosecution and defense angles.

Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, 5-6 p.m. Baker 239

Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, 5-6 p.m. Baker 233

The Executive Board of the Ohio University Mock Trial Team and Pre-Law Program Director Larry Hayman, Esq. will be on hand to provide information about the Ohio University Mock Trial Team as well as information in competing in American Mock Trial Association tournaments.

Tryouts:

Wednesday, Sept. 13, 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm.: Baker 237
Thursday , Sept. 14, 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 pm: Baker 237
