Her years growing up in one of Los Angeles’s roughest neighborhoods and her California Institute of the Arts training in avant-garde theater each inform Janae’s bold, unique comedy and performance style—which is why she was selected as a Just For Laughs New Face in 2019. She has been featured at Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington, Indiana, and Denver’s High Plains Comedy Festival.
