The Optional Practical Training (OPT) workshop provides an introduction to the OPT program and provides information on how to apply. Attendance is mandatory before applying for OPT. The OPT process takes between 3 and 4 months, so be sure to plan accordingly. 

Advance registration for this workshop is required. Please visit iCats to view the available OPT workshops and sign up for the time that works best for you. You’ll find the workshops listed under the “Events” section. Select DETAILS below the workshop you wish to attend, then select "I'm Going". Please note that anyone arriving more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed into the session, and will be asked to reschedule.

During the COVID 19 closure, all OPT meetings will be held via Microsoft Teams.  If you sign up, you will receive a Teams meeting request a day or two before the workshop.  It will contain a link you can use to join the meeting at the appropriate time.
