Kevin Uhald e\, associate professor of history and director of the Center for Law\, Jus tice & Culture\, explained the idea behind the event\, which was sparked by recent national elections in Italy: "The likely next prime minister\, Gior gia Meloni\, and her party\, Brothers of Italy\, have long invoked the Hobb it and other fantasy lore in their political rhetoric. This phenomenon isn' t limited to Italy and has a history of its own that is worth discussing." Faculty from a variety of disciplines will be on hand to provide context an d answer questions. \n\n \n\nPanel members include College of Arts & Scienc es faculty members Mirna Zakić\, associate professor of history\; Mary Kate Hurley\, associate professor of English\; Edmond Chang\, assistant profess or of English: and Brian Collins\, associate professor\, chair of Classics & Religious Studies\, and the Drs.
