Abstract:  In this talk I describe how measuring the statistics of large-scale structure in the Universe can be used to test fundamental physics and the standard model of cosmology.

I will focus on two topics: consistency tests between the early and late Universe, and the prospects of dark energy science in light of the recent Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) results
