To begin\, w e will complete an activity called “Privilege Beads”\, where participants w ill explore their privilege individually. After\, we will come together as a group and discuss how we interact with these concepts in our real life. S econd\, the participants will play the “StarPower” game from Simulation Tra ining Systems. This “game” explores the use and abuse of power within leade rship and diversity. \n\nFrom the StarPower creator: Participants have a c hance to progress from one level of society to another by acquiring wealth through trading with other participants. Once the society is established\, the group with the most wealth is given the right to make the rules for the game. The power group generally makes rules which maintain or increase its power and which those being governed consider to be unfair.
