This event is scheduled for 8:30 to 10 p.m. an d will be canceled if the sky is cloudy or stormy. Telescope nights are fre e and open to the public.\n\n \n\nVisitors may see lunar craters\, Saturn’s rings\, Jupiter\, Mars\, star clusters\, or distant galaxies\, depending o n the time of year and sky conditions.\n\n \n\nPublic Telescope Nights are held at the Ohio University Observatory\, located at The Ridges on the Athe ns campus.\n\n\n\nParking is available in university lots 202\, 200\, and 2 01\, which are open to visitors after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends. T hese lots are located near The Ridges Auditorium.\n\n \n\nParking is availa ble in university lots 202\, 200\, and 201\, which are open to visitors aft er 5 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends. A permit is required 7 a.m. to 5 p.m .\, Monday through Friday. The lots are open to public all other times\, un less reserved for a special event. These lots are located near The Ridges A uditorium. Follow the stairs up the hill to Konneker Labs\, proceed through the Konneker lot\, and walk up Water Tower Drive to reach the Observatory at the summit.\n\n \n\nLimited parking for persons with a disability is ava ilable at the observatory dome.\n\nFor more information\, please contact th e Physics & Astronomy Department at physics@ohio.edu.
