About:
Find peace and calm while practicing sustainability and learning a new craft. A reclaimed fiber bowl can be made with your hands, a medium threading needle, and different types of fiber to make a unique new item. Whether you don't want to just throw out old material/clothes or you want to repurpose something meaningful for new use, a fiber bowl is great way to do so.
Tools will be provided and there will be materials for everyone to use, but feel free to bring your own material from home. To save time cut your fabric into 1/2 to 1 inch wide strips. Please feel free to bring any yarn or thread as well.
Community Education workshops are open to the general public regardless of educational background.
Community Education workshops are non-credit and do not carry credit applicable toward an Ohio University degree or transfer to other institutions.
