Come meet resource navigators from the Southern Ohio Employer Resource Navigator and peer supporters from Ross County Community Action. Resource Navigators can assist students in connecting to existing community resources to help address concerns like childcare, transportation, financial assistance, government agency navigation, and more. Community Action Peer Supporters offer support to individuals seeking recovery from substance use and/or mental health issues. Peer supporters are individuals who are in long-term recoveryecovery and can share their lived experiences to connect clients with the resources and community services that will assist them in being advocates for their own recovery.
11 a.m-1 p.m.
Representatives from Project DAWN through the Ross County Health District will provide training on how to administer Naloxone, a medication approved by the Food and Drug Administration to rapidly reverse opioid overdose.
