Keynote Speaker, Irene Baron, will present information about the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse on the evening of March 7 ^th at 6:00 PM in the Elson Hall auditorium at Ohio University Zanesville. Topics presented will include the cause of the eclipse, what time it will occur, where to view it in Ohio, and how to view it safely. Solar viewing lenses will be distributed to attendees courtesy of Ohio University Zanesville.

Irene Baron is an Eclipse Ambassador with the NASA Partner Eclipse Ambassador program, the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), the Space Science Institute (SSI), and the Astronomical Society of the Pacific.
