Telescope nights are free and open to the public.\n\n \n\nVisitors may se e Lunar craters\, Saturn’s rings\, Jupiter\, Mars\, star clusters\, or dist ant galaxies\, depending on the time of year and sky conditions.\n\n \n\nPu blic Telescope Nights are held at the Ohio University Observatory\, located at The Ridges on the Athens campus.\n\n\n\nParking is available in univers ity lots 202\, 200\, and 201\, which are open to visitors after 5 p.m. on w eekdays and on weekends. These lots are located near The Ridges Auditorium. \n\n \n\nParking is available in university lots 202\, 200\, and 201\, whic h are open to visitors after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends. A permit i s required 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, Monday through Friday. The lots are open to p ublic all other times\, unless reserved for a special event. These lots are located near The Ridges Auditorium.
