nceled if the sky is cloudy or stormy. Telescope nights are free and open t
o the public.\n\n \n\nVisitors may see Lunar craters\, Saturn’s rings\, Jup
iter\, Mars\, star clusters\, or distant galaxies\, depending on the time o
f year and sky conditions.\n\n \n\nPublic Telescope Nights are held at the
Ohio University Observatory\, located at The Ridges on the Athens campus.\n
\n\n\nParking is available in university lots 202\, 200\, and 201\, which a
re open to visitors after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends. These lots ar
e located near The Ridges Auditorium.\n\n \n\nParking is available in unive
rsity lots 202\, 200\, and 201\, which are open to visitors after 5 p.m. on
weekdays and on weekends. A permit is required 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, Monday t
hrough Friday. The lots are open to public all other times\, unless reserve
