Campus and community friends and families are invited to STEMstart at the OHIO Museum Complex on Aug. 16 from 4-6 p.m. All ages are welcome.

The museum complex is located at 100 Ridges Circle in Athens. 

Activities: 

• Identify local insects, bird and carnivorous plants.
• Take guided outdoor hikes.
• Chat with OHIO science majors.
• Learn about stream creatures with My Backyard Stream team.

Technology:

• Experience the small world with the help of a microscope.
• Learn how to use the mApp Athens tours tool.

Take-Home DIY Science Kits

• Experience the wonders of science in your own home by taking home a DIY science kit.
