In America, 17 veterans a day commit suicide .  The Veterans and Military Student Services Center, Ohio University Student Veterans  of America, along with Army and Air Force ROTC detachments, are hosting a #Stop17 challenge campaign to raise awareness about this tragic number of veterans who are deciding to end their lives. The hope is to find advocates around campus who will be willing to help look out for veterans on campus, in the community, or in their hometown that may be struggling and help them get the support they need.

Everyone is encouraged to stop by and ‘earn’ your place as an advocate for our veterans by performing 17 exercises of your choosing.  After successfully completing your chosen event, you will receive a T-shirt (while supplies last) with the reminder the “Bobcats Support Veterans” and number to call for help.
