Visit the painting Strobia, by Nancy Graves, in the Kennedy Museum of Art (open until 9 pm). Visit the Observatory to view the night sky (any time between 7 – 9 pm). Admission to both locations is free. A shuttle will be available between the Museum and the Observatory from 6:30 – 9 pm.
Strobia is on loan from the Cincinnati Art Museum in the exhibition PAIRINGS: CAM Paintings & KMA Prints. To create her abstract paintings, Nancy Graves often referenced scientific data, including lunar maps and NASA satellite recordings.
