Friends of the Kennedy Museum of Art presents.. .Turnstile & Body: A reading, storytelling, brief lecture and writing exercise. Scott Minar a Professor Emeritus of English, the author or editor of eleven books—will present his original poetry, share literary apocrypha, introduce painter-poet Mark Strand’s work, and end with a writing exercise titled, The Poem You can’t Forget (With a Magical Ending). The event is open to the public and a cheese and wine reception will immediately follow the presentation.
