Ukraine: Before, During and Beyond Wartime: A Roundtable Discussion

The Department of History and Center for International Studies at Ohio University are pleased to present a roundtable discussion on the war in Ukraine with a special guest, Dr. Eduard Balashov, Rector of Ostroh University from Ostroh Ukraine - our sister city. Dr. Balashov is an academic psychologist and will speak to the role of his colleagues and students in supporting their country during the current conflict. Additionally, Dr. T. David Curp of the History Department and Tetyana Dovbnya, formerly of the Dept. of Linguistics at Ohio University will discuss with Dr. Balashov and the university community their own work on the war in Ukraine from a historical and literary/cultural perspective.
