About this Event
Add to calendarHave you ever overreacted to a situation or hurt someone's feelings unintentionally? Emotional Intelligence is described as the ability, capacity and skill to identify, assess, and manage emotions in a given situation. During this workshop, participants will learn to contribute to groups in an emotionally intelligent way and become more self-aware through "pair-and-share" active listening activities.
This workshop is part of the CLDC's 21st Century Leadership Program . To complete this program, students are challenged to complete the three leadership development workshops listed below, in addition to one or more 30-minute leadership coaching sessions. Students can schedule leadership coaching through Handshake . The 21st Century Leadership Program is free and does not require workshop registration. The three required workshops are Understanding Ethics and Values, Understanding Emotional Intelligence, and Understanding Team Development (or the LinkedIn Workshop because Understanding Team Development is not being offered virtually).
