As an emeritus faculty member (School of Theater), I am extremely appreciative of events such as these, featuring an internationally celebrated artist. But I have to ask: would it be too much for the School of Music to include a biography of said artist, especially considering his impressive credentials? It didn't take me long to find out about his extraordinary career, including playing for both President Obama at his inaugural and for President Biden, as well as his international concertizing. But not everyone will take the time to do this kind of internet research, and why should they have to? It would take a small effort on the School's part to offer a bio, a little background info, or to include one of the many YouTube videos on your site. I only offer this advice because the last few times I attended an event featuring a well-known concert pianist, there were only 20-25 audience members, which seems a shame considering the level of artist being featured. Respectfully, Dennis Delaney
