Tevis taught English literature and creative writing at Ohio Uni versity from 1965-1978. \n\n \n\nWOUB\, in partnership with the Ohio Univer sity Libraries and the Ohio University Alumni Association\, is holding a vi rtual Zoom screening of an hour-long documentary about Tevis’ life called W alter Tevis: A Writer’s Gambit on Thursday\, September 9 at 6:30 p.m. EDT. After the film\, a panel discussion will be held with Tevis’ children\, Jul ia McGory and Will Tevis\; Sam Crowl\, a former Ohio University faculty col league\; and Bill Kimok\, Ohio University archivist. The panel will be mode rated by WOUB Community Engagement Manager Cheri Russo. Those who attend wi ll also have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists.
