All high school and college students are welcome!
Join the Ohio University woodwind faculty and current students for a full day of fun and educational woodwind activities for flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and saxophone. Activities will include: flute, clarinet, saxophone and double-reed choirs; individual instrument workshops and master classes; faculty and guest artist recitals; seminars on a variety of subjects relevant to all musicians; and dining at the coolest restaurants on picturesque Court Street in Athens — named a best small art town in America!
Open to all high school and college students who play flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon or saxophone; and amateurs, enthusiasts and professionals/teachers/ensemble directors/music educators and band directors of these instruments.
Featuring OHIO faculty Michele Fiala [oboe], Matthew James [saxophone], Matthew Morris [bassoon], Rebecca Rischin [clarinet] and Alison Brown Sincoff [flute], and guest artists Megan Ensor and Sarunas Jankauskas.
