Join us on April 8, 2024 to view the Solar Eclipse! 

Beginning at 1:45, Irene Baron and others from the Zanesville Astronomy Club will gather at the Lewis Telescope on the Ohio University Zanesville campus. Irene is an Eclipse Ambassador with the NASA Partner Eclipse Ambassador Program and is affiliated with the National Science Teachers Association, and the Space Science Institute.

A limited number of solar viewing lenses will be available at the Observatory on the day of the eclipse.  Students interested in picking up glasses prior to the event, can stop by the Ohio University Zanesville Student Success Center.  Feel free to bring your own blanket or lawn chair as you participate in this event.  We look forward to hosting this event and having you join us for this solar eclipse!
