Ohio University Libraries has a rich history of creating tailored and dedicated services, unique collections, and diverse, innovative spaces. With our strong connections to students, faculty, staff, and the community, we are a leader and innovator in enabling our users’ success in teaching, learning, and research.
The Multicultural Center seeks to provide a diverse range of programs and opportunities that are educational, recreational, social and cultural. Committed to supporting and promoting multicultural awareness, the staff develops programs that increase understanding and appreciation of cultural differences by familiarizing the campus community with the contributions and histories of African American, Hispanic/Latino American, Asian American, and Native American cultures. The Center serves as a place where cultural teaching and learning are the focus of all programs and activities. Its focus is intercultural, and provides a place where members of the university community, representing a variety of backgrounds, participate in programs and activities. All programming for the Center is designed to increase human understanding through the study and expression of culture.
The Patton College prepares educators, practitioners and human service professionals to be leaders.
