To be classified as an Ohio resident for tuition purposes, a student must meet the guidelines for residency as defined by the State Legislature and the Ohio Department of Higher Education. It is the responsibility of the student to report a change in Ohio residency status to the Graduate College. Changes from non-resident to resident status are not automatic, and no change of residency can be made until eligibility has been confirmed by the Residency Officer.
