AAS 310 - Contemporary African American Literature


Focuses on African American literature of the 1960s and later. Concerns writers who emerged as major figures during this period. Attention also given to major literary, cultural, and aesthetic developments that fashioned new favorability among black writers.
Prerequisites: JR OR SR
