AAS 346 - Black Men and Masculinities


This course is designed to assist students in (1) investigating the theoretical questions generated through a systematic study of black manhood; (2) applying these theoretical insights and tools to a range of political, cultural, and economic issues; and (3) exploring the multiple meanings that black men in America attach to work, family, and community.

Prerequisites: JR OR SR
Credit Hours: 4
