OCOM 895 - Health Care Management
(2 weeks)This two-week, structured experience introduces students to managed care concepts and the practice of medicine within the managed care environment; provides experiences in occupational medicine and workers’ compensation; and explores different aspects of managed care practice from the perspectives of physicians, legal affairs, managed care organizations, government agencies and hospital systems.
