PSC 1400 - Observational Astronomy Laboratory
Experience with telescopes and locating stars, planets, and deep-sky objects in the night sky. Also covers major constellations, seasonal variations, lunar cycles, and, when appropriate, eclipses and comets. Should be taken as ASTR 1400.

- Achieve basic understanding of the geometry of the night sky resulting from spatial relationships within the solar system.
