HLTH 4050 - Principles of Nursing Home Administration


This course focuses on information and principles relating to Nursing Home Administration. The purpose of this course is to help students prepare for the nursing home administrators licensure exam. Theoretical, philosophical and practical aspects of long term care administration are discussed.

Requisites: HLTH 3250 or concurrent
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture
