Continuation of MUS 1011. Melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic principles of music and its notation.

Learning Outcomes:
- Students will be able to analyze harmonic, melodic, and rhythmic structures of increasing complexity and sophistication.
- Students will be able to compose basic musical structures in a common-practice tonal style.
- Students will be able to recognize basic chromatic usage in tonal music, and be able to recognize modulation and tonicization.
