MUS 3754 - Vocal Coaching
Vocal coaching prepares the singer for performance in concert, recital and opera. Aspects covered include (but are not limited to) style, performance practice, lyric diction, interpretation, and audition preparation. Vocal coaching can include preparation of operatic, oratorio or other lyric theater repertoire as well as song literature.
Credit Hours: 1
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 4.0 hours.

Learning Outcomes:
- Students will be able to polish selected solo vocal repertoire through refinement of diction, style and performance practice.
- Students will be able to increase their effectiveness in the performance of coached repertoire.
- Students will be able to demonstrate mastery of selected repertoire suitable for their voice type and year of study.
