• Compare physical therapy publications on the following bases: weekly/monthly/bi-weekly, APTA/non-APTA, and content.
• Compare the areas of specialization presented in class on the basis of setting, therapists¿ responsibilities, types of evaluations performed and treatment rendered interactions with co-workers and others, length of stay, patient conditions and age.
• Define terminology used in the physical therapy presentations.
• Describe the physical therapy profession including the definition of physical therapy, purpose, career positions, licensure and practice laws and professional responsibilities.
