VICO 4321 - Documentary Photography


This course practices, through a wide range of visual projects, the use of still photography as a tool for social, anthropological, journalistic, and artistic investigation of contemporary issues. Students apply traditional field research methods and engage in critical discourse and open discussion about how to solve photographic field problems and develop documentary projects.

Requisites: C or better in VICO 3320 and VICO 2392
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
