PETE 3400 - Design and Application of Movement through Games


This course aims to refine skill themes and movement concepts of designing age and developmentally appropriate games. The developmental approach advocated in this course applies theory into application for maximizing purposeful and skillful movement by enhancing engagement through creativity, imagination, and motivation.

Requisites: PETE 1260
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.

Learning Outcomes:
  • The students will be able to describe age and developmentally appropriate movements and games.
