ENGT 2870 - Safety Management
In this course students study OSHA regulations and other safety programs related to manufacturing. Topics include job safety analysis, personal protective equipment, accident prevention and emergency planning.
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture

Learning Outcomes:
- Students will be able to define OSHA and its purpose as well as other safety programs.
- Students will be able to list a variety of personal protective equipment required per the job being completed.
- Students will be able to evaluate potential safety concerns.
- Students will be able to describe proper emergency planning.
