MUS 1800 - Music Experience
This summer intensive introduces students to the study of music. Through individual coachings, ensemble performance, and classroom study, students develop skills and knowledge in many areas of music.
Credit Hours: 1 - 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 12.0 hours.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 1.0 tutorial, 2.0 lecture
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
- Students will be able to perform at increasingly higher levels on their instrument or voice.
- Students will be able to understand the historical background of music.
- Students will be able to understand the fundamentals of music theory and aural skills.
- Students will be able to understand the different forms and styles of music.
