NRSE 1102 - Professional Essentials and Applications of Clinical Judgment I


Introduces the factors that distinguish nursing as a profession. Historical and contemporary influences on professional nursing practice are discussed. Characteristics and major changes in healthcare delivery systems (federal, state, and local) are introduced. The role of the nurse in today’s interdisciplinary healthcare environment is examined. Strategies to promote success in the nursing program are introduced.
